Imagine you’re stuck in a jungle with a machete – how do you progress?
Behind you, a cliff rises as high as you can see. Machete? Absolutely no.
Look ahead, and there are trees. Machete? Still no.
Turn left, and you see a thicket of vines dangling. Machete? Probably.
Turn right, and this time, you see small thorny bushes. Machete? Yes! Definitely yes!
You wade through the jungle using the machete to clear the path ahead of you.
You progress not by taking on the largest obstacle but the smallest one - first.
If there's some gargantuan problem you cannot fix, look for something lower - then fix it.
Before you know it, you’re making progress.
